Liminal image as a multimodal construal

Abstract
The article focuses on defining the specificity of multimodal manifestations of liminal imagery. The latter is an umbrella term and includes verbal and non-verbal poetic images of liminal state of the lyrical I, liminal time and liminal space. Liminal image is a multimodal construal structured by preconceptual, conceptual, verbal, and non-verbal facets.
