Limit analysis of steel-concrete composite structures with slip
Journal Title: Civil and Environmental Engineering Reports - Year 2011, Vol 1, Issue 7
Abstract
The paper proposes a modeling of the load carrying capacity of steel-concrete composite structures with slip. An analytical approach to the load carrying capacity calculation of multilayered composite elements and structures with slip is presented. The interaction of layers of composite beams and bars on the example of two- and three-layers, including thin-wall ones, was analyzed. The results are compared with numerical calculations using a program based on the finite element method. Then the problem of the limit analysis for the spatial skeleton structures is formulated as an optimization problem.

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION PROBLEMS CONNECTED WITH ENSURING EVEN THERMAL INSULATION OF SINGLE-LAYER WALLS
The design of single-layer walls appears to be extremely simple. In the opinion of many designers, the additional insulation of tie beams and balconies continues to solve all problems. However, tests on single-layer wall...
Emission and dispersion of gaseous pollution from exhaust shafts of copper mine
The primary objective of the study was to determine the volumes of emission and dispersion of gaseous pollution from 3 exhaust shafts of a copper mine P-VII, SW-3 and SG-2. To calculate the volumes of emission and disper...
