Linguocultural interference and the ways of its overcoming

Abstract
The article considers linguocultural interference that occurs in the course of intercultural communication. The author presents the findings of this phenomenon received as a result of surveying the student audiences with different levels of language proficiency. It provides a comparative analysis of the characteristics of verbal English and Ukrainian communicative behavior and non-verbal behavior of other linguocultures. The author gives recommendations for the prevention of typical communication mistakes in foreign language communication.
