Literary Services of Allama Ghulam Rasool Saeedi With Special Reference to Maqalat-e-Saeedi

Abstract
In Islamic History, many Muslim jurists and religious scholars served Islam and Muslims in the shape of their writings so they could benefit the Muslim Ummah according to their capabilities. In the recent era, when we try to find the Muslim scholars particularly in Pakistan who served in spreading Islamic teaching by their writings in several fields of Islamic sciences especially in Qur'anic and hadith sciences. One of such dignities is Allama Ghulam Rasool Saeedi (1937-2016) . There are many dimensions in Allama Saeedi's life. At once, he was a teacher, religious scholar, mufassir, muhaddith. In fact, he was an institution himself and a complete person in his own in the field of Islamic sciences. His immaculate research works and writings signify an evident place in the field of Qur’anic and Hadith sciences particularly written in Urdu language. The current paper discusses briefly various dimensions of his literary services and focuses on his one of the masterpiece ‘Maqalat-e-Saeedi’.
