Localization of Tatar Servicemen on the Lands of Right-bank Ukraine in the 16th–17th Centuries

Abstract
The article examines the peculiarities of the 16th–17th centuries settlement of Tatar servicemen on the Ukrainian lands incorporated into the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland. Special attention is given to «private Tatars» carrying out military service for magnates and gentry; some localities with their colonies are also considered.
