Lokalność w cieniu globalizacji

Abstract
Considerations over the notions of locality and globalization are still worth revival, because of the changing context of their occurrence. Participation in the local arrangements is one of the immanent features of modern-day globalization. This process really altered the world in lots of measures. The list of advantageous changes accomplished or introduced in the lifestyles, economy or politics under the influence of globalization is already long, but the same abundant is register of recognized controversial, as well as outright harmful consequences done to the local milieus. There is, however, a more optimistic scenario: the evolutionary fusion of locality and globalization. Local communities have to face challenges which do not recognize borders. When wanting last, develop and even draw advantages from globalization, they have to be exposed, entirely or partly, to outside influences of economic and cultural relationships. This co-operative vision of globalization – called glocalization – relies in general on local absorption of global goods, the acceptance of external incentives, and also meddling the universal, mass products of the culture with local models. This is the most characteristic way how these two dimensions: local and global, interchange.
