Looking at the Application of script and motifs on fabric with an emphasis on Iranian art

Abstract
Iranians historically have been a symbol of art and artist that some of its signs can be searched in literature, architecture, cultural heritage and historical monuments. Art is one of the cultural heritages of each community and script also is one of the topics of art. Many years ago the human beings were use the drawing lines as a painting and later as a written language to communicate with each other. Gradually the script and little motifs formed many applications in human life which among these applications can be pointed to its role on the fabrics. Fabrics in all major life events, such as birthdays, weddings and funerals, count as the essential equipment. Whether given as a gift, or trade, interment and burned, or whether as a family memorial transmits to the next generation. So the quality of fabric is very important and it makes use of script and motifs on textiles. The study examines the use of descriptive analysis to investigate the application of script and motifs on fabric. The results of this study indicate that antiquity of weaving can be guessed to the Achaemenian in Iran. Medians were used the pen and parchment for the first time. According to the available information, can be say the application of script and motif on fabrics According to the information available, we can say and role in the fabric Application had a great boom after the Islamic period and have grown until the end of the Safavid period significantly.
