Los hidalgos cehegineros y el tribunal de la Real Chancillería de Granada

Abstract
Historically hidalgos of Cehegín litigated with the town council, which denied the privilegies that hidalgos, as social class, had, in order to excluded them from the mobility census. The aristocracy attended to the “Sala de Hijosdalgos” from the Real Chancillería de Granada in order to recover their benefits. This was a expensive process that could not be afforded by everybody.
