Los Vélez y su presencia en el noroeste murciano S.XV-S.XVII

Abstract
The marquisate of Velez and the Fajardo family reached their apex with the Trastámara renovation and under the rule of the Austrias. A sign of their great power was the influence they had in the Northwest of Murcia, which was reflected in their relations with the lower nobility and multiple architectural projects which we can still see today. In this article, we will go over the principal villas of the northeast region where their power was greatest, examining their relations with the nobles established in said villas as well as the most relevant buildings.
