Love: Revelation of Beauty or Good with an Expiry Date?<br />
Journal Title: Intellectum - Year 2008, Vol 3, Issue 5
Abstract
The current article analyses the duration of love. The modern theological approaches to love are criticised. Through the dialogue between Greek literature and theology, the constant revelation of the personal self of the 'other' is marked as a common feature in the concept of 'love'. Under these prerequisites, love or love within the frame of marriage is constantly rejuvenated by the function of surprise and thus, it is not a good with an expiry date.
