MAIN DIRECTIONS OF DEVELOPMENT OF AZERBAIJAN-TURKISH SCIENTIFIC AND PEDAGOGICAL RELATIONS

Abstract
At the beginning of the 20th century, in the early 1990s, the Soviet Union strongly supported the strength- ening of the scientific and cultural ties with the Turkey and accelerating the process of integration. Today, it is impossible to imagine this opportunity without the contribution of the Turkic peoples to the expanding integration process. In the expansion of these processes, it is very important to establish relations in the field of education, where the national and spiritual values created by the Turkish people in the course of thousands of years are a factor of progress for the peoples of the region and the world. The establishment of coopera- tion in the field of education became possible after the agreements concluded in 1991 between the Ministry of Education of Turkey and the relevant institutions of Azerbaijan.
