MANAGEMENT OF INNOVATION ACTIVITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE AT THE REGIONAL LEVEL

Abstract
The article explores the principles and methodology of innovative activities for the development of agriculture at the regional level. The principal principles for the implementation of the innovation policy for the development of agriculture in the region have been determined. It was found out that the innovative development of the region's agriculture provides for effective use of the scientific and technical potential of the region, integration of science, education and production, technological modernization of the economy on the basis of innovative technologies. The solution of this kind of task requires the creation of conditions: an appropriate innovation infrastructure; a set of material, technical, legislative and other means that provide information, expert, marketing, financial, human resources and other services to innovation. It is established that at present the principles of implementing the innovation policy towards the development of agriculture are not fully applied. The principles of state support of innovative activity in the sphere of agriculture at the regional level are determined. It is summarized that the implementation of innovative policies in the agricultural sector at the regional level will promote economic efficiency and reduce risks both in the industry, the region, and Ukraine as a whole.
