Abstract
The following article examines the main element of the marketing sector agribusiness corporations – market segmentation milk. The urgency of the global milk market segmentation caused by dairy processing enterprises need to identify markets for dairy products in terms of increased competition in the dairy market in Ukraine due to the increasing share of world food imports and reduced consumption of most food products, including dairy. The study authors developed and are stages of the dairy market segmentation, starting from the definition of directions and signs of market segmentation product positioning to it and develop the marketing plan. The article shows that the segmentation of the market provides dairy producers a number of significant advantages, including avoiding intense competition in the market, find its niche market and not only improve the efficiency of interaction with individual market segments, but profit. The authors demonstrated segment structure of world dairy product market, which is done by segmenting consumers behavioral and psychographic segmentation principles and core. In the global milk market segmentation calculated their volumes, are the world’s main exporters and importers of milk and are trends and developments dairy markets.
