МАТЕМАТИЧЕСКАЯ МОДЕЛЬ СТРУКТУРЫ ЗАТВЕРДЕВАЮЩЕГО МЕТАЛЛИЧЕСКОГО СЛИТКА

Abstract

In our time the ferrous metallurgical industry faces the main task that is to improve the quality of products and all technical and economic performance indicators of metallurgical enterprises. Every day the demand for quality goods is growing and specialists in various industries are constantly working to improve the quality of steel products. In this paper, we consider the existing models of metals crystallization and impurities filtration during the solidification of melts, their advantages and disadvantages are revealed. Based on the previously developed models for the formation of inhomogeneities during the solidification of a metal, a new unified mathematical model is obtained. This model takes into account the transfer of the impurities into a dendritny framework and formations of structural heterogeneities, such as a cone of settling of fine crystals and pipe. Finitely-difference approximation of model equations is performed in cylindrical coordinates with using a uniform staggered grid.
