Journal Title: Roczniki Bieszczadzkie - Year 2012, Vol 20, Issue 1

Abstract

In years 2010–2011 stocktaking research of araneofauna from the Bieszczady National Park was done. Among 202 spider species discussed in this study 64 were not enumerated from this Park until now. After summing up bibliographic data and material from presenting paper the list of spiders known from territory of the Bieszczady National Park includes 254 species (about 3 per cent of domestic araneofauna). Simultaneous verification of literature show that species noted in previous publications about the Bieszczady National Park such as: Anguliphantes monticola, Diplocephalus permixtus, Peponocranium ludicrum, Tenuiphantes tenuis, Meta menardi, Alopecosa trabalis, Ozyptila brevipes and Xysticus acerbus should be removed from the list of spider species list which occurs in this area. Moreover, it was established that Peponocranium ludicrum do not occur in Poland and it should be removed from the list of spiders occurring in Poland. Presenting materials brings first information about occurrence in the Bieszczady National Park numerous very rare mountain or boreo-mountain species such as: Centromerus silvicola, Pocadicnemis carpatica, Acantholycosa lignaria, Zora distincta. Discovered on the Połonina Caryńska locality of Anguliphantes tripartitus transfers the range border of this species for about 150 kilometers to the east and it is the first one in the Eastern Carpathians. In this paper is also given information which supplements knowledge about distribution in Poland of such species as: Evansia merens, Palliduphantes milleri, Peponocranium praeceps and Taranucnus bihari. Among worth of remark species should be also mentioned: Centromerus levitarsis, Hypselistes jacksoni, Clubiona juvenis, Sibianor larae and Talavera parvistyla. All this species were found on peat-bog and humid meadows situated in the Bieszczady National Park. For Ero cambridgei, Centromerus levitarsis, Ceratinella brevipes, C. scabrosa, Acantholycosa lignaria and Talavera parvistyla maps are provided illustrating location of this spiders in Poland and for aranucnus bihari also the photos of epigynum are given.
