Mathematical modeling of residual stresses in spiral welded pipe
Journal Title: Вісник Тернопільського національного технічного університету - Year 2018, Vol 90, Issue 2
Abstract
Using the Kirchhoff thin shell theory with initial stresses the mathematical model for determination of residual welding stresses in pipes with spiral weld joint was built. The values of welding stresses acting on face surface of pipe for varying helix angle of spiral weld joint in pipeline was calculated.

Long-term strength of the welds in the heat-resistant steels in hydrogen
The features of service regime of the oil hydrocracking reactors is associated with the high stress in its body due to fluctuations in temperature and pressure of the environment during the technological process. To unde...
Analysis of risks while connecting to the power supply system of the administrative building of the kinetic energy storage unit for the purpose of load regulation
On the basis of the analysis of the risks arising from the power supply of the building's power supply system from the kinetic electronics to the time of maximum load, according to the network analysis method developed b...
The influence of height of angular profile of rods on rectangular welded truss deformation
The paper is devoted to the study of deformation properties of five 18000 x 3600 mm welded rectangular trusses under the external static loads. Experimental specimens are made of the steel rolled angular profiles with di...
Contact interaction of a slotted shell with a deformable filler
The aim of the present work is to construct a mathematical model of the friction contact of a slotted cylindrical shell with a deformable filler. The statement of the mixed problem on frictional interaction in the system...
