Mathematical modeling of residual stresses in spiral welded pipe
Journal Title: Вісник Тернопільського національного технічного університету - Year 2018, Vol 90, Issue 2
Abstract
Using the Kirchhoff thin shell theory with initial stresses the mathematical model for determination of residual welding stresses in pipes with spiral weld joint was built. The values of welding stresses acting on face surface of pipe for varying helix angle of spiral weld joint in pipeline was calculated.

Technological conditions of diffusive boride coating formation on silicon carbide and molybdenum disilicide
Basic directions of the diffusive boride coating formation on reaction-sintered silicon carbide and molybdenum disilicide are described. Technological conditions of non-metal ceramic materials boriding depending on the c...
Investigation of the power-consuming mower drive operation
The problems of raising operating efficiency of segment–pin mower are analysed. Difficulties, which occur during the operation of such mower drives, have been analysed. The ways to get rid of these problems have been ana...
Recommendations for designing cellular wall polyethylene pipes placed in the soil
Information about various Ukrainian and international national standards in the field of design and installation of polymer pipes with hollow walls is given. The strength of cellular wall polyethylene pipes placed in the...
Directed loading of the high-speed screw conveyor from the bunker
The results of the investigations of high-speed conveyor loading with bulk cargo are given. It is established that directional compressed flow produces dynamic pressure resisting the centrifugal motion of the load during...
