Journal Title: Sultan Qaboos University Medical Journal - Year 2013, Vol 13, Issue 2
Abstract
Knowledge regarding the anatomic morphology of maxillary molars is absolutely essential for the success of endodontic treatment. Te morphology of the permanent maxillary frst molar has been reviewed extensively; however, the presence of two canals in a two-rooted maxillary frst molar has rarely been reported in studies describing tooth and root canal anatomies. Tis case report presents a patient with a maxillary frst molar with two roots and two root canals, who was referred to the Department of Endodontics, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Iran.
