Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Human - Computer Interaction - Year 2011, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
In this article we present applications of the lesson development module (MDL) – the solution modeling component - in two computer programming lessons, case studies conducted through a new approach to teaching computer science: visual modeling of algorithms and their evaluation based on metaphorical forms . We highlighted the impact of the implemented teaching strategies and of the applied learning methods on two types of users: students and teachers. A comparative study was conducted in two types of lessons, 2D and 3D.
