Meaning of application of special medical knowledge in criminal proceedings

Abstract
The article analyzes the importance and meaning of the application of special medical knowledge in criminal proceedings. The article describes some practical aspects of the appli- cation of special medical knowledge. The emphasis is on the consequences of their use for the correct and lawful disclosure of crimes against the life and health of the individual.The emphasis is on the consequences of their use for the correct and lawful disclosure of crimes against the life and health of the individual.According to the results of the study, proposals were elaborated on the need to educate practical and future law enforcement officers on the intricacies of the use of special medical knowledge during the investigation of crimes and the disclosure of the value of the evidence base resulting from their use.
