Measurement System for the Monitoring of Laser + MAG Welding Parameters
Journal Title: Biuletyn Instytutu Spawalnictwa - Year 2017, Vol 61, Issue 3
Abstract
This paper presents the design, technical possibilities and the intended use of a multi-station measurement system for HLAW process monitoring. The system used at the production site allows the monitoring and recording of HLAW welding parameters in relation to various constructions and products. The use of an industrial fieldbus interface allows full integration with automation devices and systems found on typical production stations/sites.

Effect of Welding Parameters on the Structure, Mechanical Properties and Crack Resistance of Welded Joints Made of Steel 14HGN2MDAFB
The article presents test results concerning the structure and the phase composition of the weld and HAZ metal of welded joints made of high yield point (above 700 MPa) steel 14HGN2MDAFB using the mechanised welding meth...
Use of Plasma Method Variants When Welding Sheets Made of Steel X6CrNi18-10
The article presents the course and results of tests aimed to identify the effect of the PAW (plasma welding) method variant (with cold wire and without the filler metal) or PPAW method (flux-cored) on the shape of the w...
Simulation Tests of the Welding Machine Secondary Circuit
The article discusses the analysis of circuit parameters and power losses in the secondary circuit of the welding machine. The analysis was based on FEM calculations performed using the ANSYS Mechanical APDL software pro...
The importance of an integrated quality assurance system in professional qualification development and implementation
The increasing pace of technological changes in manufacturing is reducing the useful life of formal qualifications. High level monolithic qualifications require large amounts of effort to review and revise them, especial...
Evaluation of the Microstructure of 600 and 617 Nickel Alloys Subjected to Arc Welding
The paper presents the results concerning the assessment of the microstructure 600 and 617 nickel alloys. Test alloys delivered as plates were exposed to welding arc applied in the TIG method. The assessment involving th...
