Mechanism of enterprise’s intellectual capital management

Abstract

The article researches the features of intellectual capital as the object of management and presents the basic principles of its management in an enterprise. It summarizes the existing mechanisms of organizational management of intellectual capital, among which the important issue is determining the fair price of the license for the desired technology. It is determined that the main problem for building powerful intellectual capital is the problem with human capital. Therefore, the main attention of the enterprise in the field of personnel management should be focused on the selection of employees capable of generating new ideas, increasing their competence, ensuring professional growth, developing interpersonal relations within given corporate culture, overcoming resistance to various innovations, identifying effective methods of stimulating scientific and technical activities. The analysis of the intellectual property management structure was made. This concerns the client capital management mechanism, which is a rather complicated process and not sufficiently developed. To develop the correct client capital management strategy based on a series of studies of well-known global consulting companies regarding B2B development trends, it is necessary to use the principle of close contact with the client. Some aspects of resolving issues related to the activities of all intellectual property are provided. In particular, it is proposed to improve the customer relationship for enterprises to introduce the customer relationship management system (CRM), which has been in the world use for a long time and brought considerable results for those who implemented it. This system includes the collection and analysis of information about counterparties, partner suppliers and relationships with them. The authot’s attention is focused on the role of intellectual capital management mechanisms for solving the problems of companies’ competitiveness and intellectual capacity building. The made conclusions and recommendations are directed for the further research on managing the intellectual capital of companies.
