Mechanisms of state regulation of banking institutions of Ukraine in modern conditions

Abstract
The article analyzes the evolution of state regulation of banking activity in Ukraine. The main definitions of the term «state regulation of the economy» published in separate writ- ings of modern Ukrainian scientists are considered. The mechanism of state regulation of banking activity is described, as well as the main components of it are analyzed: norma- tive-legal and organizational support. The main directions of the state policy are set out for ensuring efficient and stable functioning of the modern banking system.
