MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS OF BANKS UNDER THE BANKING CRISIS CONDITIONS

Abstract
The theoretical essence of the concept ‘merger’ and ‘acquisition’ of banks under the banking crisis conditions in Ukraine has been studied and their differences have been determined, using the analysis of the legislative base of foreign and domestic authors. A rating of the banking institutions has been made according to the key performance indicators for 2016. A mechanism of applying a ‘merger’ and ‘acquisition’ of banks under the crisis conditions in Ukraine has been developed.
