Message Based Decentralized Key for AttributeBased Encryption

Abstract

Decentralized attribute- based encryption is a type of multi authority Attribute Based Encryption. Where Multi authority signifies that each user can independently generate keys without co-operation from the central authority. This is different from the earlier scheme where multiple authority system was used. The multi Authorities had to be online all the time to set up the system which is impractical and inconvenience to the user. This will lead to compromising the user’s privacy and security, as these multiple authorities will try and combine and try to get into the security of the user by his GID, these multiple authorities will collect user attributes, then imitate him. Therefore, it remains a challenging problem to construct a decentralized ABE scheme with privacy protection of the user. In this paper, a Decentralized Key for Attribute-Based Encryption scheme where user can get secret key through message, independently from the authority without knowing anything about his GID. To the best of my knowledge, it is the first decentralized ABE scheme with privacy-preserving based on keys sent through short messaging service.
