Metabolic complications of Leśniowski-Crohn\'s desease
Journal Title: Gastroenterology Review - Year 2006, Vol 1, Issue 2
Abstract
Metabolic complications presented in Leśniowski-Crohn disease are consequences of multiple factors involved in pathogenesis of this entity, which leads to malabsorption, malnutrition as well as vitamin and mineral deficiencies. The triggering factor in relation to many of these complications can be the chronic, intensive pharmacotherapy.
