METE AND BOUNDS OF INTERPRETATIVE ACTIVITIY OF EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the disclosure of the scope of the European Court of Human Rights' activities concerning the interpretation of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. The jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights on the interpretation and application of the Convention’s rules is being studied. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the evolutive interpretation and autonomous interpretation by the European Court of Human Rights. There is determined the conventional interpretation as the delegated interpretation by the European Court of Human Rights of the provisions of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms which is carried out directly over law-enforcement activity, has an obligatory and normative character in the context of a specific case and carries the binding effect for the courts of the States Parties to the Convention.
