METHOD STRUCTURE FORMATION COMPOSITE MATERIALS WITH DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS FOR THE METAL MOLD CENTRIFUGAL CASTING

Abstract

This article focuses on wear-resistant and heat-resistant composite materials. The subject of our study is the formation of composite metal mold for centrifugal casting. Development of effective methods STRUCTURE-forming for Composite materials with specified characteristics is very important issue for the industry, as well as heat-resistant insulating materials today have low working time. The aim of this work is to study the main factors affecting the wear designed details for higher loads and overview of the main technological solutions aimed at improving the durability of these parts. Was first studied and tested a new method of producing composite powder that is the wet mixing of titanium sponge with filling liquid ceramic matrix for optimization of the tribological characteristics and its thermal stability. The only feature of the production process was the need of pressing the workpiece within 3 hours of mixing. The best method is using a multilayer structure monometallic inserts and porous heat insulators for alcohol-silicate matrix with different fillings, depending on the desired parameters of the heat insulating layer. We developed methods that can be applied to obtain composite materials for metal mold intended for casting piston ring casting or centrifugal casting cylinder liners, pumps or compressors; as well as the creation of filters and porous construction materials with high wear resistance and impact resistance.
