METHODICAL APPROACH TO THE PLANNING OF MINING INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT ON THE BASIS OF THE INTER-BASED BALANCE MODEL

Abstract
The article states that the specificity and uniqueness of the mining industry for the Ukrainian economy is related to the dependence of other industries on the results of its production activity and high vulnerability to economic and political conditions in foreign markets. It is proved that the largest consumers of mining products in the domestic market include: processing industry, the supply of electricity, gas, steam, and conditioned air; transport. Results of the economic activity of the mining industry considerably depend on the demand on the part of these three sectors. It is substantiated that consideration of all available intersectoral linkages during mining development planning is possible provided that Leontief intersectoral balance model is used. The methodical approach to the planning of the development of the mining industry on the basis of the intersectoral balance model is developed and its practical testing is carried out.
