Methodological and applied bases of forming the strategic sets of the automotive industry enterprises

Abstract
Introduction. Automotive industry is the integral and strategically important part of the domestic machine building industry. The complexity of the problems of the automobiles manufacturers' functioning requires the revision of the adopted strategies in view of their ineffectiveness. The purpose is the development of the methodological bases for the formation of the strategic sets of the automotive industry enterprises. Results. The substrategies of the basic strategies of development of the automotive industry enterprises were identified: «maxi – maxi» – intensification, integration, revitalization; «maxi – mini» – extensification, clusterization, stabilization, differentiation; «mini – maxi» – modification, modernization, reconstruction, reengineering, reorganization, re-profiling, diversification; «mini – mini» – reduction, restructuring, sanation, liquidation. The matrix of the strategies for the development of the automotive industry enterprises has been developed. Conclusion. The strategic sets for the automotive industry enterprises of Ukraine were developed: for PJSC «Promavtoinvest»: as the manufacturer of the cars – the substrategy for the modification and/or diversification of the «mini – maxi» strategy, as the manufacturer of the trucks and buses – the substrategy of the clustering and/or stabilization of the «maxi – mini» strategy; for corporation «Bogdan»: as the manufacturer of the cars and trucks – the substrategy for the sanation or liquidation of the «mini – mini» strategy, as the manufacturer of the buses – the substrategy for the re-organization and/or re-engineering of the «mini – maxi» strategy; for PJSC «Eurocar» – the substrategy for the integration and/or revitalization of the «maxi – maxi» strategy; for PJSC «AvtoKrAZ» – the substrategy for the sanation or liquidation of the «mini – mini» strategy; for PJSC «BAZ» – the substrategy for the sanation or liquidation of the «mini – mini» strategy; for PJSC «Chasivyar buses» – the substrategy for the modification and/or diversification of the «mini – maxi» strategy; for PJSC «Chernihiv automobile plant» – the substrategy of the clustering and/or stabilization of the «maxi – mini» strategy; for PJSC «Cherkassy bus» – the substrategy for the integration and/or revitalization of the «maxi – maxi» strategy.
