Methodological approaches to democracy

Abstract
In article theoretical and methodological approaches of scientists to a problem of determination of democracy are considered, specifies that throughout history the mankind aspired to material well-being, such way of public life, that to be free, to feel the fair attitude towards itself. It is revealed that only democracy – political as much as possible can realize this tendency the mechanism, flexible to changes in the organization of society, the most resistan in present development.
