Methodological aspects of formation of work of concertmaster-pianist work

Abstract

The article deals with the specifics of the formation of the concertmaster with different performers. It is emphasized that requirements for pianists are quite similar and moreover – identical in many points. The work of the concertmaster involves the ability to adapt to the requirements of the performers with whom they work. In addition, the role of the professional pianist-con‐ certmaster plays is important in the need to adapt to the style of a specialist teacher. It is noted, that work with vocalists (aca‐ demic singing and pop singing), with instrumentalists-soloists, conductors has a number of essential differences. Concertmaster should pay attention to the creation of a duet and joint combination of vocal and instrumental principles, including the obser‐ vance of the dynamic balance, the need to support the vocalist, the selection of key tones that would help the singer. The prob‐ lems faced by pianist concertmasters include the constantly growing repertoire, which needs to be skillfully played, the need to combine the functions of a pianist and a teacher. When working with symphonic conductors, the concertmaster must have an extremely great auditory experience, knowing in practical terms many different works for the symphony orchestra. Moreover, the direction of this experience should be combined with the ability to reproduce the desired tone sound.
