Methods features language competence formation of education students of economic specialties

Abstract
The article examines problems associated with teaching students of economic specialties to read authentic texts. Urgent tasks of teaching English are established at Faculty of Economics, that are to build skills in foreign language that students can use in their practice professional work in improving skills and achieve career goals. Literature review has been done on the theory and practice of translation, abstracting and annotating foreign language professional literature. The place of translation in teaching to read and understand professional literature, education and stages are outlined, types of translation are used in teaching understanding of authentic literature. Specified types of economic texts should be used. Requirements for the level of student knowledge and skills are concretized. Features of authentic texts reading are highlighted. Exercises and tasks that contribute to the implementation of teaching reading authentic texts are analysed.
