Abstract

Much of the research of the last two decades is devoted to the reliability of the functioning of IP. For such problems, in conditions of a lack of not only statistical data, but also clearly defined system states, the method of interval averages and the so-called sociotechnical approach turned out to be the most developed. A significant contribution to the development of methods for assessing reliability was made by a series of studies conducted under the direction of I.B. Shubinsky. These works mainly concern the creation of methods for investigating the functional reliability of software; The proposed methods of analysis are also applicable in a number of cases to the consideration of authentication processes
