Abstract
It has been proposed the design of self-adaptive software with personalization features, based on the ontological knowledge bases. For the implementation of self-adaptive software it was developed a specialized knowledge base, which contains user data, software business logic and UI elements. The architecture of software is based on using the ontology to provide flexibility in adaptation, up to changing the subject area. The key feature of the presented methodology is on the reducing the need for a tight binding business logic of the application and its data model during development. The software personalization method, which defined in this paper is using to separate the user's personal resources from public ones. This functionality is implemented by using ontology «namespaces». The method, which is defined in this paper can be used to expand the range of tasks which might to solve via described approach. In particular, for tasks which involve to work with private data.
