Metoda SWOT jako narzędzie opracowania strategii rozwoju Policji

Abstract
At the beginning of 2005, the Chief of the PoUsh Police approved 2005-2010 Police Development Strategy, preceded with a range of operations introduced in the article, which for the first time in the Police contained the full SWOT analysis indicating internal strengths and weaknesses and external occasions and threats. After analysing the priorities resulting from the above-mentioned strategy (mission and vision and strategic and functional purposes) provincial police commanders indicated the purposes and tasks for realization in 2007-2009for subordinate units and organizational components. The procedure of developing a provincial strategy has been presented in the article on the example of2007-2009 Warsaw Metropolitan Police Strategy.
