Metrics for Energy Efficiency in Logistics of Freight Distribution

Journal Title: Carpathian Journal of Electrical Engineering - Year 2016, Vol 10, Issue 1

Abstract

The paper is a study on the energy efficiency indicators that can be used for the activities in logistics of freight distribution, at the company level, as well as at macroeconomic level. There are highlighted also some solutions for increasing energy efficiency in distribution channels, starting from technical and logistics management actions, at the company level. There are revealed also the impacts of energy efficiency measures.
