Abstract
Rhinosinusitis is one of the most common conditions seen by primary health physicians. Inflammation of the nose and paranasal sinuses mucous membrane impairs its function. Inflammation of mucosa impair s cilia movement and mucociliary clearance in sinuses and nasal cavity. This le ads to the deposition of thick secretions in the area of ostiomeatal complex and causes its obst ruction, whi ch increases inflammation within the sinuses. Topic al nasal saline has become a routine part of many management paradigms in treating chronic sino-nasal symptoms.
