Mięsień lędźwiowy – znaczenie strukturalne i funkcjonalne

Abstract
Hip osteoarthritis (coxarthrosis) is one of the most common causes of disability among the elderly. It is characterized by progressive loss and degeneration of cartilage, subchondral bone sclerosis and the formation of a bony spur. These lesions cause severe pain, the loss of mobility and weakness of the muscles surrounding the joint, which results in the reduction of fitness andf unctionality and decreases the quality of life. Early diagnosis of the cause of problems and the implementation of rehabilitation will extend and improve the mobility of patients. The article presents physiotherapy proceeding using special techniques in the conservative treatment of coxarthrosis.
