Milczące załatwienie sprawy w Kodeksie postępowania administracyjnego – rewolucja czy nie?

Abstract
The article addresses the most important issues connected with the so-called tacit settlement of a case, introduced into the Administrative Procedure Code by the most recent amendment. Aside from generally characterizing the new regulations, the article argues for adopting the thesis that the amendments to the administrative procedure concerning tacit consent do not introduce any new solutions. What is more, the reflections on the subject point to a conclusion that questions the rationale for including the provisions on tacit settlement of cases in the Administrative Procedure Code.
