MILITARY ASSEMBLED STRUCTURES IN TEMPORARY BRIDGING PROJECTS

Abstract

This paper presents technical, construction and maintenance characteristics of water crossing equipment used by NATO Member States. The authors discuss the possibilities of using mechanised accompanying bridges, pontoon bridges and folded structures of road bridges for the improvised reconstruction of road facilities under crisis conditions.
