Abstract
Introduction. Crystal-like structures with specific spectral characteristics are widely investigated for signal processing devices. Brief review of electromagnetic crystals (EC) and EC-inhomogeneities is presented. Miniature EC. Few methods to miniaturize EC are presented. A new method for reducing the size of electromagnetic crystals (EC) due to formation of the wave trajectory in the form of interconnected u-shaped loops, covering inhomogeneities is proposed and tested. Narrow-band EC-filter. Miniature EC narrow-band filter based on the scheme of Fabry-Perot cavity is designed and constructed. The experimental and calculated values of the resonant frequency, bandwidth at –3 dB level and insertion loss are respectively 3.74 GHz and 3.83 GHz, 194 MHz and 100 MHz, –3 dB and –1.7 dB. In comparison with straight resonator area structure size is reduced by 1.5 times. Measured and simulated results are presented. The features of 3D-simulation of the noval EC are presented. Conclusions. Two EC-inhomogeneities with special wave trajectory permit to design a miniature narrow-band filters.

Determination of the configuration computer systems high-performance handling large volumes of data
This paper provides a mathematical model of computing complex (a network of queuing). In what volume of processed data outgrows memory compute nodes, so all data are divided into equal blocks of fixed size that are distr...
Research of frequency descriptions, parameters conductometric differential sensors with pectinate topology
In differential conductometric systems, for example in biosensor systems, often use co-planar thinly-pellicle structure double-sensors with pectinate topology. Simple and useful devices could be realized with help of the...
Analysis of the linear systems with the use of normal transform
The method of the use of discrete operator of normal transform is offered for the analysis of the signal pass through the linear systems. The analysis of application of the nonminimum derivation formulas using the meth...
Features of application of E-codes of Welti for radar systems
The ambiguity function of quaternary phase E-codes of Welti is considered. Features of application this signals for radar systems are showed. The detector of the signals of this type is presented.
