MITIGATING CLIMATE CHANGE AND PREVENTING GLACIER MELTING

Abstract
The article discusses the measures taken in the Central Asian countries to prevent climate change and its consequences, including soil degradation, drought, desertification and reduced crop yields. It then provides information on the glacier reserves in the mountains of Central Asia, the regions where most of them are located, as well as the work carried out to prevent glacier melting and world experience.
