Abstract
T.U. Bilousko. International trade as a factor of increasing the global competitiveness of Ukraine. The purpose of the article. The trading activities of each country are an important condition for its economic growth and competitiveness. Globalization has caused the economic dependence of many countries of the world on the effectiveness of national economies' actions on using positive and neutralizing the negative effects of globalization in their favor. Trading activity promotes the development of promising directions of export potential, providing currency revenues for the purchase of the necessary energy resources, modern mechanisms and equipment, technologies, consumer goods. The purpose of the article is to analyze and assess the state of Ukraine's trade activity in modern conditions and to determine the reserves of its deepening on the basis of structural adjustment in order to increase global competitiveness on international markets. Research methods. In the study of effective regulatory mechanisms for the deepening of trade activities in a globalized world, a systematic approach was based on methodological support. Results of work Foreign trade is important in shaping the international competitiveness of Ukraine, therefore, efforts to regulate and increase it will continue to play an important role in the system of measures to overcome crises and post-crisis recovery of the economy. Trade as an industry provides organizational and resource-financial interaction of other industries, respectively, the competitiveness of the country in international markets is a reflection of the sphere of influence of the competitiveness of other industries in close interaction. We note that foreign trade in Ukraine has become largely one-way communication, that is, the negative trade balance shows a significant predominance of imports over exports to our country and, in most cases, the raw material component of exports, and not finished goods, as is the case in developed countries of the world . Scope of results. Today, further study and development of recommendations for making strategic decisions on the development of international trade as a factor in ensuring the competitiveness of the country in international markets. The export strategy must be developed and have a scientific methodological basis, which requires close cooperation between the scientists and the government of the country.
