MNC’S INVESTMENT STRATEGY IN THE CONDITIONS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
This article is devoted to the MNC’s investment problems and conditions, under which investment flows will invest in different countries in the global turbulent environment. It investigates the benefits of the concept of sustainable development of multinationals in their investment activities in the host country, as well as sustainable development is a key strategy of any country or company and it describes the main directions of the use of this concept as a future competitive advantage in the global market of goods and services. This study also characterizes the main MNCs’ strategies, which use the concept of sustainable development, and they should be corrected with the influence of different factors and changes, which we can see in the MNC’s activity environment. Recommendations are made for MNC’s investment activity in the directions of effective investment flows management with taking into account the social, environmental, and economic performance of the host country. It provided a strategic investment MNCs model for the future prospects considering advantages and disadvantages of the use of the concept of sustainable development. It analysed the basic indicators of competitiveness of host countries in terms of environmental and social practices of multinational corporations, which were based on economic instability of the global economic system, which show the role MNC’s investment flows in the poorest and developing countries.
