Model and Algorithm of Rerouting under Adverse Weather with Moving and Shrinking

Abstract

To deal with constant-rate shrinking mobile danger zone under adverse weather,considering the effects of upper wind on flight tracks,a new systematic rerouting strategy including rerouting judging,two-stage rerouting,trajectory inspection model and validation model was proposed. In the first two stages of dynamic rerouting,both the starting point of rerouting and the vector to ending were obtained by the designed heuristic algorithm. The trajectory inspection model was established to check potential conflicts between current course and dynamic convex polygonal danger zone. The conflicts were eliminated via the slightest adjustments on rerouting tracks by repeating the heuristic algorithm. The validation model was constructed to shorten the revised route. A simulation on Guiyang-Changsha route proved the effectiveness of the model and algorithm.
