Modeling in the content of a teacher training: theoretical aspect

Abstract
The article has analyzed various approaches to understanding the essence of modeling. Simulation as a cognitive process is used while developing models of research of various objects, creating models of educational systems and in the design ofprofessional training. Simulation as a method of knowledge servs as an element of the learning process along side with such methods as analysis, synthesis, systematization, generalization etc. The author has proposed to explore modeling as a part ofprofessional activity of future teachers.
