Modeling of Development Trends in the Non-Bank Financial Institutions in Ukraine

Abstract
The article is aimed to estimate the current status of activities of non-banking financial institutions in order to build an econometric model to create favorable conditions for regulating the market of non-bank financial services and formation of managerial decisions aimed at improving the effectiveness of its activities. It has been determined that factors acting on the market of non-banking financial services, have both a positive and a negative influence on the activities of its members, so there is a need to manage these factors. In order to build an adequate econometric model has been proposed in each component of the market of non-bank financial services to choose the major participants that form the supply and demand in these segments. Statistical observations on the number and size of assets of insurance companies, credit unions and joint investment institutions formed the basis of the econometric model. The proposed econometric model of development of non-banking financial institutions in Ukraine, on the basis of the actual state of the market of non-bank financial services, gives an opportunity to predict the regulatory influence of the State on the participants in this market in order to increase their effectiveness and their functional positive impact on the resulting indicator - GDP.
