MODELING OF STRIP WINDER CONTROL

Abstract

One of the ways to enhance the working pressure of vessels is to reinforce the cylinder by means of a multiple-layered strip wound. In order to obtain the required quality of such a vessel, a fully controlled and stable strength of the strip tension must be ensured in the course of the winding process. The design of the winding machine also includes control systems of propulsion and braking. The Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation method has been presented using an industrial driver and the LabView software.
