Modeling of the surfaces of rotating drops in the measurement of the interfacial tension of liquids

Abstract

The simulation of surfaces of fixed rotating drops is based on the numerical solution of the system of differential equations. It is proposed to use the method of numerical integration of Runge-Kutta 4-th order with correction in step for simulation of surfaces of fixed rotating drops. The algorithm of the software for calculating surfaces of fixed rotating drops is proposed on the basis of the made theoretical analysis. The analysis of the errors that arise during the simulation of the surfaces of fixed rotating drops when measuring the interfacial tension of liquids is made. The obtained results of errors in the calculation of the surfaces of fixed rotating drops indicate that these errors are commensurate with the error in the calculations given in the program.
