МОДЕЛИРОВАНИЕ ПРОЦЕССА ТЕХНИЧЕСКОГО СОСТОЯНИЯ СУДОВЫХ ДВИГАТЕЛЕЙ ПО ПРОГРАММЕ «ДИЗЕЛЬ – RK»

Abstract

The use of the Diesel-RK program for determining the technical state of the ship's internal combustion engine was applied for the first time in the world practice. This approach was developed by the authors of this article to find the threshold state of the engine for the purpose of testing it with a fuel catalyst to reduce harmful emissions in the off-gases of the marine engine. The level of load on the engine had to match its technical capabilities in order to avoid its accident. The program allowed to simulate the process load on the engine, and it turned out to be 60 %. The tests were conducted by the Danube Institute of OMA, the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company in conjunction with the Institute of Problems of Ecology and Energy Conservation - Kiev. Simulation of the process of testing the fuel catalyst on the ship "Mikhail Senilov" made it possible to determine the full range of harmful emissions in the exhaust gases of the engine with a working technical condition under the given load regime. This allowed us to understand the degree of reduction of harmful emissions on the engine of the test vessel with the residual service life of the engine. Using the program to determine the technical state of the engine in conjunction with the electronic indicator DPI-50 Leutert, makes it possible to assess all the costs of restoring the technical condition of ship engines.
